it is super dry in our house and my nose was all dry this morning and as soon as i sat up i had a bloody nose. it's such a weird feeling, have a bloody nose that is.

let's see today i had a list of stuff to get done... sweep and wash the floors since a certain guy forgets to take his shoes off at the door, dust, vacuum, and to be in audubon at 3 pm. i managed to do them all. i was even on time for my meeting with phyllis, she's the mentoring coordinator. there is a big event coming up and she needs so things done and i'm helping with certain things. it should be fun!

i came home and noticed one of my OCD thoughts! i over think the weirdest things and can't deal with them until they're fixed. i have a fear of walking under a ledge and having an icicle fall on me and make me bleed. please, don't laugh. i'm serious. and i came home and as i was walking to the back of the house i looked up and noticed the entire south side of the house had icicles hanging from the gutters. now, it did look really cool, but it can't stay like that. so i took a picture of it for my blog and then grabbed the shovel to make my house safe. woooh. i feel better.

i called my mom this evening to see how courtney is doing. she was released from the hospital and is on crutches. she can use one leg and slightly wiggle her toes on the other leg. she's very lucky. she's also in a lot of pain and the poor girl was so upset that her coat and new snow pants were cut off from her. i made her feel better explaining that happened to me too and they just wanted her to be still and that clothing is replaceable and that she is not replaceable. she felt a little better after that. 

matt decided to dedicate a few nights a week to certain events. for example... monday night is hobby/craft night and wednesday is movie night. i have no idea where he came up with this... but sure, i'm game if my husband wants to spend time with me! so we started this week. it was fun. we watched the family man tonight. it has nicholas cage in it and it sucked. i have such hard time picking out movies.

lilo and i cuddled and then i carried her to bed.
