i didn't get the picture uploaded of matt and i wearing our matching jersey's. i'll try to get it by monday.

december 31st

new years eve felt like any other day of the year to me.

i woke up, did my usual and decided to clean out our bedroom closet and our coat closet in the living room. sometimes i wish we had a bigger bedroom closet, but then we might have more clothes that we don't need. matt has lots of clothes. he has work clothes that take up lots of room. i listened to carrie underwood while i cleaned. organizing took most of the day and before i knew it matt was home from work. he worked on the basement a little, it's coming along nicely. then we ate some left overs and around 8:30 we went to nate's for a little new years eve get together. but first i made the comment "matt, what should we wear? ah, let both wear fox racing jersey's!" i should not have said that. because matt thought that was the best idea. he even suggested we take it to the next level and wear our keen shoes and he was all giddy. we did and i wore a sweatshirt over mine because it was cold. 

we get to nates and the guys do a couple of car bombs, it's a shot glass dropped into a glass of beer and you chug it. we also watched some t.v. and had some interesting conversations. the night went by kind of slow and i was thankful when midnight came and i went home around 12:30. i checked on lilo and she looked kind of stiff like. i took an idea my mom gave me and put a heating pad on low and wrapped it around her lower back and thigh area. i could tell it was helping. she seamed really relaxed and she laid there all night. good thing it has a timer setting on it...she could have gotten to much heat, but she didn't. i read a little, ok...really i had to start over because i couldn't remember what i read. this happens sometimes and annoys me super bad! i'm trying to help my memory. it's hard, i get through it though.
