january 7th

this is my converted scrap-booking cabinet. it used to be an old armoire. last year my dad and dylan and matt too converted it to a crafting cabinet.

it's amazing that i was able to sleep in today with the noise going on downstairs which was making lilo bark crazy like!
i finally got up (i won't type what time) and got to work on my to-do list. the main thing to do is get ride of stuff that i've had for four to five years and i've never picked up. most of this stuff is in our office/computer/craft room. i'm not quick done because i was doing some excessive organizing and filing. i hope to work on it thursday and friday too. by the time i realized what time it was matt was home. he was thrilled with my idea of getting rid of some stuff and he likes it when i organize.
i made stir fry with fried rice for dinner. i must say it was yummy. this is one of matt's fave meals and i actually cook it well! we had a nice dinner and i watched friends re-runs i received through netflicks and matt wandered around the basement in awe on how well everything is getting done.
i stayed up late reading because i got to a point where i couldn't put the book down. then finally around 2 am i went to bed.
