it was weird waking up with matt still at home today... he took a vacation day because they don't carry over to the next year and he had one left. i could also get used to him starting my vehicle for me and letting it warm up!
mel needed to go to harlan to get basketball shoes for her son and wanted to eat at joe's on the square, which is a new orleans style restaurant. we got there and it was closed! ...as in no longer in service. i almost cried.
about 3 -ish i started to feel achy and sick. my neck, back and throat hurt and when i get sick it usually happens very fast. and by the time i got home i could barely move. matt and i are starting "hobby night" on mondays or wednesdays and i had to skip tonight because i was chilled and need to sleep and be under covers. he takes such good care of me when i feel yucky. i'm not a baby about being sick, he's just very good about seeing if i need anything. ...maybe he doesn't want me to move around to much because sometimes i pass out when i'm sick... and i then hit my head and it results in a visit to the ER. BUT that's not the case today!
i fell asleep listening to john and kate plus eight...
more tomorrow...
good thing we didn't take a trip to harlan to joe's!
