january 11th

here is the book that i'm reading.

i almost forgot that i was volunteering at the salem nursing home in elk horn today. it's weird how i woke up suddenly and was thinking...i'm supposed to do something today, what is it? anyways... dylan and katrena went with me, they like to help. or sometimes tasha comes with me instead. what i basically do is help wheel the residents into the chapel and assist them in following along and when services are over then we take them where they need to go. i always treat which ever kid helps me out to breakfast and they enjoyed that too.

then it was off to our church, in brayton. it was good as usual. 

after church, katrena went with me to atlantic to get some groceries. we went to walmart first to look at a slip cover for a chair. then we went to pamida to check them out there...and they didn't have any. i guess i'll check online. then we got groceries at hy-vee and it's always nice to see smiling faces in every isle! haha! no really, it's nice to see people i used to work with.

we came back to my house, unloaded the groceries and i decided to re-arrange the furniture. i'm not sure if i like it...it'll probably be different by wednesday. my dad came into exira and picked-up katrena. and i sat around for a little bit deciding if i like the arranged furniture. 

i made chicken parmesan for dinner. i thought it was yummy...but...completely forgot that matt HATES parmesan. oops. 

i watched some friends re-runs and massaged lilo's back and called it a night.
