march 14th

this is the green horse we saw yesterday, i didn't take this picture but i found it on omaha's website. of course, i couldn't sleep in! then i woke becca up because she could here my pants. hahaha. anyways... we got up and ready to start the day going to different little shops. we started first with anthropology, which is a fun store and i love the style of it...they must have a wonderful marketing team. then we went to a few stores around there, just browsing. next we went to country side village, there we went to lots and lots of shops from a book store, to an art gallery, a bathroom/bedroom place, a few stationary shops, one of which becca works part-time at. then to a knitting shop, a pet boutique that was super cute...but it smelled like wet dog...yucky. we met nathan for lunch at big fred's pizzeria. yum, i was pleasantly surprised with the pizza nathan chose. it was simple but really good. next we went to a few shops downtown with the help of "bertha" the gps lady. we went to several places in the old market and becca asked me to take my camera around to get some random pictures for her, which i did. while we were in the old market we went to some awesome antiques shops, a garden shop, the park, and walked around and saw a green horse. it was green because of st. patrick's day. we decided to go back a little closer to her apartment and find a park. which we didn't do. instead we went to border's bookstore quickly then to juice stop. yum. yum. yum. it was so good and then i took random pictures of trees for her bathroom and we ended up by a lake (i can't remember the name of it! damn.) and drove around til she almost fell asleep. later we went to dinner at applebee's with nathan. and my sizzlin' apple pie wasn't sizzlin and i was kind of sad, sure it tastes the same but i need the effect! after some humor from nathan we went back to their apartment and watched shag! nathan was waiting for friends to pick him up and in the mean time, he watched it with us and didn't complain...because he liked it! then we feel asleep. wow, becca... it's no wonder why you were so tired, look what we did today and you drove! more tomorrow...
