february 7th

there is no picture for today, i guess i forgot to take one with all the commotion. damn, i've failed my picture journal now.

damn dogs! they bark so much… only to find out this time they were barking because matt, mom and my dad were home! matt was so exhausted that he showered quick and went to bed. i then got the kids up and they gathered there stuff and the dogs and i took them home so matt could sleep in peace and quiet. lilo was relieved to see them go too.
my parents house is usually crazy with kids going every where and doing this and that… but now they need to be super quiet because my dad is pretty sore from surgery and everything that he’s gone through. overall, he looks pretty good… but i can tell he’s depressed. mom explains his strict diet to me and we went through the kitchen to see what he could eat and decided we better take a trip to the grocery store so they can stock up on stuff he can eat. dylan stays home with dad to make sure he’s okay and the girls went to atlantic. it took forever in the grocery store, looking at labels and checking everything. we needed to get him a cane too. he was using my great-grandpas cane that is seriously like 50 years old. he’s using a cane because his balance isn’t the best right now.
the rest of the day i hung out at my parents house because i didn’t want to wake matt up by making noise. he called me around 9 pm to let me know he was awake and wondered where i was. then he went back to sleep around 10-ish.
