me hard at work on the gravel pile...
this morning i worked on editing pictures and getting them uploaded for proofing. i think they turned out good, i hope mel and trent like them. then i went with my parents to carroll because my dad had a doctors appointment and i needed to return a couch cover. we ran some more errands then went to his appointment and it turned out pretty good. he can drive now, but not his semi for three months. and he had to do a stress test in a few weeks and then they'll check him again. he was relieved that everything went well. we got home and i did some laundry then matt came home told me he was going to scoop gravel and that i can help if i want. i just smiled at him. then i thought about the movie last night and grabbed my coat and gloves and went out to help him. he was very surprised. the gravel is in a trailer and since it snowed it became frozen. a frozen pile of rock. i jumped up in the trailer with a shovel and started chiseling away, i did this for 2 1/2 hours. then matt made me go inside since i'm sick. he was so pleased that i helped him and i was glad to, sometimes we forget that's what makes a marriage work. simple things like that. we had leftover pizza for dinner and watched some tv. more tomorrow...
