me with my hula hoop!
i woke up early today and decided i would straighten my hair to measure it and see if it is close to 10 inches...so i can get it cut and donate it to locks of love! it's only 8 1/2 inches. i really want it cut...now. i'm practicing patients.
the day at work started like any other at the office... i start up my computer and check the mail box outside while it starts up. today there was two envelopes in the box...like any one cares, i thought i would share.
the morning went super fast and it was 12:30 before i even looked at the clock. mel had to run an errand in atlantic and suggested we go out to eat. i don't argue...she's the boss! we had chinese and i learned she enjoys egg drop soup. i however, can't stand the sight of it. gross! but...lunch was good and i warned mel about the candies that appear to be peppermint but really are cherry flavored. it happened to me again! she choose the same color and hers was peppermint and mine was cherry. be careful becca!
so she decides she better was her van. we went to all the car washes in atlantic and the lines were super long. what are the chances that 50 other people want to wash their vehicle at 1:30 in the afternoon in atlantic, iowa? i guess the chances are pretty good. she didn't want to wait and we headed back to elk horn.
we talk about such random stuff from death to traveling in elevators to what it might be like to be gay. very informative i might add.
all day i listened to the office on netflix while i worked. mel loves the show and has been telling me to watch it. i must say i didn't like it at first. i really like the second season though.
i forgot to mention that before lunch she gave me my christmas present...it was 3 jelly belly candles and a hula hoop. some might think that's really weird...but it's perfect. she told me that when she walked past the hula hoops she thought of me. and the candles were of course to make the office smell good!
the work day was over and i went to the library to see if there were any good movies to rent...and wall-e was finally there. i'll watch it tonight and report back to my blog.
i got home and showed matt my hula hoop and he re-acted like a guy and shook his head. i enjoyed the little day light left and played with my gift. sadly, i'm not as good as i was in fourth grade. but i'll determined to improve.
for dinner we just picked whatever left-overs we had in the fridge so we can get rid of them...i don't like to waste stuff.
i worked on business identity stuff for the rest of the night and listened to some more of the office videos on netflixs.
i had a migraine and went to bed early.
more tomorrow...
